Recipe ingredients:

  • Salt: 2 tsp
  • Chopped Onion: 1/2 Nos
  • Chana Dal: 1 Cup
  • Carrot: 1 Grated
  • Capsicum: 1/2 Nos
  • Black Pepper: 1 tsp
  • Green Chilly: 2-3 Nos
  • Garlic Cloves: 7-8 Nos
  • Palak: 1 Cup

How to make Chana Dal Pakoda:

  1. Grind chana dal, garlic, ginger and green chilies to make a coarse paste.

  2. In a bowl with the paste mix palak, oinion, capsicum, grated carrot, pepper and salt.

  3. Make small tikkies and deep fry on a medium flame until golden brown.

  4. Serve hot with tomato ketchup and fried green chilies.

Tip 1: Make sure to grind the coarse paste.

Tip 2: Can be made without Onion and Garlic.

Tip 3: Adjust green chili and salt according to the taste.
